How much GIC do I get every month?

2000 CA$ will be transferred from your GIC account to your student bank account when you arrive in Canada. You will receive a monthly payment of 667 CA$ plus any interest amount for 12 months from the remaining 8000 CA$ in your GIC Account.

What happens if GIC is rejected?

In this case, the bank will refund your GIC amount balance after cutting the processing fee. Most banks transfer the amount to the same account they received the payment from initially for security reasons.
