Eligibility Criteria
- There are no specific Criteria for PTE general exam, anyone of any age can take this exam.
- For PTE academics, the test minimum age required is 16 years. If you are below 18 and want to take the PTE exam, you must submit a consent form signed by your parents.
- The PTE Academic Board has not set any eligibility requirements related to educational qualifications. To take the exam, the only condition is that you must understand the English language well.
- Students of different countries may take the PTE Academic exam, but they must follow the common rules. However, as mentioned on the PTE official website, candidates are only allowed to take the exam if they have a valid, current, and readable identity proof document (mainly a passport).
Mode of Exam
There is only one mode through which you can take the PTE exam, and that is Online mode.

| Rescheduling Fees | If you request a change in your PTE test date at least 14 calendar days before your exam, there won’t be any additional fees. You must pay 50% of the original test fee if you wish to reschedule your date 7 to 14 days before the test. However, you will only be eligible for a refund if you request a reschedule 7 days before the test date. |
| Canceling Fees | You can cancel your appointment and ask for a refund if you decide not to take the PTE Academic exam. You must use the PTE website to submit the cancellation request. The Cancelation fee structure is the same as the rescheduling fee structure of the PTE exam.
