About The University of Exeter

It is situated in the South West of England. It is a public research institution and a proud member of the Russell Group of universities in the UK.

Its origins can be traced back to the establishment of the Exeter School of Art and Exeter School of Science in 1855 and 1863, respectively, to acknowledge Prince Albert’s contributions to the arts and sciences. These schools merged to become the Royal Albert Memorial College and, later, the University College of the South West of England. It finally received its Royal Charter in 1955 and was renamed as the University of Exeter.

The University of Exeter includes four campuses: St Luke’s in Exeter, Streatham, Penryn and Truro in Cornwall. Additionally, in 1993, the Camborne School of Mines was integrated into the university.

The University of Exeter comprises six academic colleges and houses several research institutes and centers, such as the Centre for Leadership Studies, the Bill Douglas Centre for the History of Cinema and Popular Culture, and the Centre for Maritime Historical Studies. The university’s research focuses on various themes that frequently cross disciplinary boundaries, including climate change, exoplanets, and translational medicine.

Student Reviews

From Shreya – ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Reputation and ranking are excellent, and the city is lovely. With its hills, lakes, and library, the university is quite attractive and tiny, and I’ve always wanted the whole immersive experience.

From Monish Khanderia – ⭐⭐⭐⭐

It was one of the few universities in the UK to offer a course on behavioral economics and behavioral finance. Second, it belonged to the Russell Group of Universities, the UK’s equivalent of the Ivy League. Last but not least, it was less expensive than other institutions that offered this degree, and they gave me a scholarship, which was an important incentive for me.

From Akshay Magdum – ⭐⭐⭐⭐

I believed it would be a fantastic university to advance my MBA, gain in-depth business knowledge and leadership abilities, get a variety of cohort exposure, and form lasting connections. Additionally, it provided a chance to learn about British society, culture, and history and to travel and discover the nation’s traditions and beliefs.
