Students Can Now Retake IELTS Single Module
Indian students who want to study abroad can now retake one single module of their IELTS test if they are unhappy with their current scores. The officials have introduced the IELTS One Skill Retake, which is a convenient option for students.
However, this option is available at only some eligible IELTS computer-delivered test centers across India.
This initiative allows students to retake one of the four English language skills, speaking, writing, reading, and listening, if they feel their current exam scores did not meet their expectations.
Now, this new one-skill retake feature is exclusively offered to those students who opted for the IELTS computer-delivered test option.
After selecting the IELTS One Skill Retake, students will receive a new and second TRF (Test Report Form) reflecting their latest exam scores. Students can mainly use the TRF to apply for their migration and study abroad applications.
Based on their scores, the test takers can choose whether to use their new or old TRF for the one skill they decide to retake.
The IELTS One Skill Retake gained acceptance and recognition from diverse authority bodies, including the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency, the Australian Department of Home Affairs, and a rising number of institutions and universities each month.
The Managing director of IELTS, IDP Education, said this new option would help all individuals to achieve their desired or best scores and also support many organizations to attract the right and good proficiency students.
According to Freeland, IELTS One Skill Retake allows test takers to retake a single skill if they believe their initial performance did not accurately reflect their language proficiency level.
Piyush Kumar, Regional Director for South Asia and Mauritius at IDP Education, believes this new feature offers test takers an excellent opportunity to accomplish their academic and migration objectives.
Kumar explained that the IELTS One Skill Retake was developed based on feedback from test takers who wanted the option to retake a single skill instead of retaking the entire test.
This feature is available for both Academic and General IELTS and is currently offered at all 47 IELTS Computer centers in India. It provides test takers more options and flexibility as they work towards their goals.
So, it is all about students can now retake IELTS single modules.
