Also, some days earlier, (IRCC) Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada designated the PTE exam for Student Direct Steam (SDS) as a proof of English language ability exam for economic migration. After this, the PTE exam gained more popularity among international students and became a good choice for Language proficiency exams.
According to the PTE test data of 2022 India, 58% of individuals in India sat for undergraduate courses; at the same time, 34% of test takers opted for postgraduate programs. Among the top areas of study for Indian students were Humanities and Arts, Business and Management, Information Technology, and Engineering. Especially the data highlights that 39% of the test takers who aimed to pursue education abroad were Indian women, and 43% of those who took the test for work or migration purposes were also Indian women.

Furthermore, Pearson India has also launched a new and powerful campaign – PTE Kar Befikar – in partnership with famous actor Vicky Kaushal to promote the PTE exam in India. PTE kar Befikar concentrates on aspirational international mobility for professionals and students seeking to study abroad.
This campaign was launched across Pearson India’s all social media channels. In this campaign, the PTE (Pearson Test of English) is a digital assessment, including an AI scoring method, a fairer, faster, and more straightforward experience for those who want to work, study or live abroad.
