Everyone knows that IELTS is the exam students take to prove their English language proficiency to study in English-speaking nations.

It is the most taken exam by students. So this IELTS one skill retake is the newest update delivered by the IDP to help students who fail to fulfill their requirements because of a low score in one module of IELTS.

More than 11,000 institutes accept this exam in more than 140 countries, including the USA, the UK, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.

IELTS New Update 2023 – IELTS One Skill Retake

IELTS New Update – IDP has introduced IELTS One Skill Retake in some IDP test centers of major big cities in Australia from November 2022.

Warwick Freeland, MD of IELTS IDP Education, said that they had introduced the feature of IELTS one skill retake in response to the test takers’ feedback.

Many students who take the IELTS exam sometimes fail to fulfill their requirements on the first attempt. Most of the time, this happens because they don’t get the desired score in one module.

In those cases, at present, students have to take the full IELTS exam again. So this creates a burden for students, but with the help of IELTS one skill retake, students will be able to retake only one module in which they want to improve their score.

The IELTS One Skill Retake feature is only available in some centers of big cities in Australia, but in 2023, IDP is planning to introduce this feature globally.

Warwick Freeland also said that he believes that the test takers will be able to get desired band score on their first attempt.

Those who do not get the desired score in all modules and fail to score in one module can retake the IELTS one-skill test.

Students who select IELTS One Skill Retake in the launch phase will get a new TRF that they can use for study and migration purposes.

One skill retake IELTS exam’s new features will be helpful for students to put their careers on the path.
