The GMAT score validity
The GMAT test score is valid for five years from the test date. For example, if you took the test on January 1, 2021, your GMAT score will be valid till January 1, 2026.
To submit their applications within the GMAT score validity period, students are recommended to pay particular attention to the admission deadlines.
A candidate can take the GMAT exam maximum of five times a year, only once in every 16 calendar days. For example, if you take the test on the 1st of a month, you can not take the test again until the 17 of that month.
A student is only allowed to make eight attempts in their life. The GMAT exam lasts for 3 hours and 7 minutes, as we discussed above.
The GMAT exam scores of test takers might range from 200 to 800.

What happened to your GMAT score after five years?
The Official Score Report won’t show your GMAT score once the GMAT score validity has expired after five years. It means that no business institute will consider that score.
However, candidates may request special access to their previous score reports. The score report older than ten years can not be accessed even if you pay a special amount.
To request earlier test results, a student must contact GMAC customer care.
Can we cancel our GMAT score, and can it be reinstated?
Yes, it is possible to cancel the GMAT result score if your GMAT score validity is pending.
When you cancel your GMAT score, then it won’t be part of the GMAT official score report, which means you won’t be able to access your score on the official website of GMAC.
Also, it won’t be part of the college admission process while applying for the business program in any business institute.
Once you can cancel the GMAT score then, you can also reinstate it if you want your GMAT score validity left.
You may be able to see your canceled GMAT score, but it won’t be of any use if you do not reinstate it.
