Due to this increase in demand, Canada&#8217;s provinces are making significant efforts to attract healthcare workers from abroad. Immigrants comprise 35% of Canada&#8217;s doctors, 23% of registered nurses, and 39% of dentists.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As of February 2023, the healthcare industry has the highest job vacancies in Canada, with 143,800 vacant positions.
