Based on the latest Henley Passport Index, Japan was replaced with Singapore as the country for having the world’s most powerful passport and allowing its visa holders visa-free entry to 192 global destinations.
Also, Togo And Senegal are the two more countries ranked alongside India at the 80th spot on the Henley Passport Index rankings.
Spain, Germany, and Italy have moved up into the 2nd spot and provide access to its holders visa-free entry to 190 destinations.
Japanese passport holders join those of six other countries, including Finland, Austria, South Korea, Luxembourg, Sweden, and France. Japan is in the 3rd spot, providing access to 189 destinations without a prior visa.
The rankings of the Henley Passport Index depend on the number of destinations passport holders can access without a prior visa. These rankings are primarily based on data from the (IATA) International Air Transport Association.
Based on the latest information, India’s neighbor Pakistan now holds the 4th worst passport in the world and provides its holders visa-free access to only 33 nations.
At the bottom of the Henley Openness Index, North Korea, Afghanistan, Turkmenistan, and Papua New Guinea are the four countries that score zero, allowing no visa-free access for any passport.
