  • Visit the official ieltsidpindia.com website. You must click on register on the official IDP website.
  • You need to select the test whether you want to give computer-based or pen and paper-based IELTS. After that, you must select the test module from academics or general training.
  • After that, you have to select the city where you wish to give the IELTS exam.
  • Then, click on the “book now” option, and a new page will open where you can see and select the exam date of your choice.
  • After that, by filling in all your details and paying the fee of Rs 15,500, you can book your IELTS exam for the selected date.

Cancellation or postponement of the IELTS exam dates

It is possible to cancel or postpone the IELTS exam at any time. You can cancel or postpone the exam personally or by emailing the IDP officials. You can not postpone or cancel your IELTS exam by telephone. 

You need to remember these three points before you can cancel the exam.

  • Firstly, if you cancel or postpone the exam before 5 weeks of your exam date, you will get a refund of 25%.
  • Secondly, if you cancel or postpone the exam when less than 5 weeks are left in the exam, you will not get any refund.
  • Thirdly, if you do not appear in the exam, you will also not get a refund from IDP.

So it is advised to you that only fill out the IELTS exam dates 2023 only if you are fully prepared for the exam. 

Some important instructions for IELTS exam day

Keep your mobile phones switched off at the test venue.

  • The test will take around 2 hours 40 minutes, and you have to reach the exam center at least 1 hour before the exam.
  • There will be no break between the tests.
  • Food and drinks are not allowed in the exam hall.
  • Your photograph will be taken at the exam center.
  • You can only take a pen, pencil, eraser, and ID card into the exam hall.
  • You should take your passport with you to the exam center.
  • If you have any queries during the exam, just raise your hand. The invigilator will visit you by himself or herself and will take your queries.
